It’s been a busy spring with the Farmhouse and Church projects wrapping up and my new show Traverse at Matthew Rachman Gallery. There is still time to see the show- it closes on July 10th. Below are some recent installations from Lincoln Park and the Lake Forest Showhouse as well as an editorial feature from national magazine Kitchen Bath Trends. Stay tuned for more editorial coverage in Sophisticated Living Magazine and take a peek at our new ad (pictured above) running in July! Hope you are enjoying your spring.
I am honored to have participated in this year’s prestigious Lake Forest Showhouse with designer Joey Leicht in the Man Cave Bar and Bath. Even though this room isn’t “Pretty in Pink”, this year’s showhouse was owned by director John Hughes. Located within the historic district of east Lake Forest, the home features the exquisite detail of architect Edwin Hill Clark.
On May 15th, my new exhibition opened at Matthew Rachman Gallery. Thanks to all who came out to show support. If you weren’t able to make it, below are some images. Artwork always looks better in person, so you can stop by the Gallery anytime before July 10th to get up close and personal.
Linc Thelen’s new series “Traverse” is a study of lines and their intersections. By incorporating the fundamental use of light, texture and color he creates spontaneous emotion, which reflects the fluidity of life. The work represents real life metaphors relating to human relationships and the evolution of time.
I’m thrilled to be featured in the upcoming issue of Kitchen Bath Trends Magazine. Read the full story here>>
