Modern Renovation and Design

This story begins with a young family looking for the modern feel so they purchased a 1980’s home to renovate. A daunting task to complete, but a vision well-worth seeing through. This is where I step in and provide architectural, interior design and contracting services.

A sleek and sexy kitchen using white lacquered cabinets from Poggen Pohl. The center piece that anchors the island was a structural column that we wrapped and painted in high gloss lacquer.
The living room was closed off, dark and needed to be more inviting.
We opened up the back wall to the kitchen, allowing more movement throughout the house. The wooden rafters were drywalled and all the windows and doors were replaced.
This fireplace was definitely not the focal point we were looking for.
We re-invented it with modern wave tiles and a new surround.
Small bathrooms can be grand with the right design.
The interesting thing, architecturally, is that the sink and shower faucets come up from the floor. If you look closely you can see the shower head comes from the floor instead of the wall.
Special thanks to the clients who brought me in on this project and acted as a driving force for creating a sleek, modern home.
